March 2021 update: – bit too early to call this one yet.

In theory and all things being equal we should be ok for our usual bonfire night celebrations on the 5th November but obviously we are going to have to see how things roll out over the coming months. We will keep this page updated so please check back. Thank you.

The Centre’s Bonfire is always held on Bonfire Night 5th November – you can rely on it!

3min vid clip of our 2014 firework display

BonfireThe Bonfire is a brilliant family night out with a separate children’s firework display, a huge bonfire, magnificent main firework show, fairground rides, hot food, gluwein and snacks.

The gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm. The children’s display begins at 7pm and the main display will be at 7.45pm. Event closes at 9pm.

Hot Dogs, Baked Potatoes, Mulled Wine, soft drinks, Toffee, Soup, Tea & Coffee, Parkin, Fairground etc. A great family event!

Car parking (free) will be at Woodford Garden Centre. There will be NO parking at the Centre itself. All that said, the best way to Woodford’s wonderful Bonfire Night Celebrations is on Shanks’ Pony.

Tickets will be available from Budgens Store Woodford, Online via TicketSource and the Centre itself.

Family ticket £22 in advance £25 on the gate comprises 2 Adults and 3 Children (3 – 16 years arriving together) under 3s go free, 3yrs – 16yrs £5 (no discount on advance purchase) adult tickets are £6.00 in advance and £8 on the gate each.  Please note that if you purchase a family ticket via TicketSource it is imperative that all family members arrive together. Once the ticket is scanned there can be no further admissions on that ticket, so photocopying or printing your ticket twice will under no circumstances, allow your party to gain entrance in separate lots.
If you have purchased your tickets(s) online please proceed to the main gate (this is the second entrance gate) in order for your ticket to be scanned.
On a slightly less smiley note please be aware that we do not permit any personal fireworks whatsoever (including sparklers) to be brought onto the premises, so please don’t bring any with you. We further do not permit any alcohol to be brought onto the premises. Tea, coffee, mulled wine, draught beer and soft drinks will be on sale during the evening but the main bar will not be open for the sale of any spirits. Sorry to sound so heavy handed but these measures are purely for your own safety. We want you to enjoy the event and remain safe. Thank you.

**We only accept wood for the bonfire and we will not be accepting any wood until 3rd November**
