Comedy Nights at Woodford are going down a storm! Join us.

We are delighted to announce the introduction of regular, live stand-up comedy nights here at Woodford Community Centre

There will be three comedians each evening and the bar will be open before, in between the acts and at the end of the evening.

Seating is unreserved except when you have a party of 6 people in which case we will allocate a table to accommodate your entire party.

Tickets are £12 each and available from our TicketSource account – a small booking fee applies.

Age guidance 18+yrs. Doors open 7pm for 8pm start.

Line-up for September 2025

Headlining this show is Sam Avery, award-winning
blogger and best-selling author for ‘Confessions of a learner parent’, his hilarious reactions to a life-
changing world in bringing up twin boys.

Percy Savage is a Cumbrian funnyman with a bunch of inventive and effortlessly rib-tickling perspectives.

Philip Simon has most recently been gigging throughout the UK, as well as a few appearances in New York,
Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Auckland where he headlined at The Classic.

Line-up for November 2025

Liverpool has a history for producing some of the country’s finest comedy talent, and Jamie Sutherland can now be added to that fine list.
He is a headline act on the comedy circuit, working for the finest clubs.
Jamie is also a corporate hospitality MC at Everton FC for all their home games.
Jamie finds laughs in current observations but can’t resist a few old-style gags too.
Extremely popular with corporate clients, Jamie has taken his show into Europe entertaining holidaymakers, and in 2008 he stretched as far as Sydney, Australia.

Howard Walker is a chatty and charming stand-up from Bradford who is unable to spell keane-waa.

Dave Williams has been a full-time comedian since 1998 and is booked for both compering and sets by a wide range of bookers and venues including the
Comedy Store, Manford’s Comedy Clubs, and Buzz Comedy.
He has performed overseas in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Doha
and Australia, including a week headlining the Sydney Comedy Store. He has also performed in Cyprus for soldiers returning from Afghanistan.

Corporate gigs include…BP, HSBC, First Group, Sainsbury’s and a range of sports clubs.
