Mini Athletics Cheshire East, High Peak and Stockport is run by Amazineer Gareth. I live in the High Peak with my wife and my 5 year old twin daughters.
I have been a primary school teacher for 15 years with a specialism in PE, so I have first-hand knowledge of the importance of involving children in sport from an early age. Engaging and imaginative sessions that take on a different, exciting theme every week, will ensure that your child develops their physical, cognitive and social skills as well as having fun!
In my 15 years as a teacher, I have taught 3 and 4 year old children in nursery, all the way up to 10 and 11 year olds in year 6…and everything in between!
The aim of Mini Athletics Cheshire East, High Peak and Stockport is to give children from walking age up to 7 years old an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of athletics through engaging and energetic activities.

Weekly – Friday mornings – Large and Small Hall 9.00am – 11.45am
There are occasions throughout the year when the regular classes cannot or do not take place due to other booking commitments / holidays etc. Please always check with the class organiser before just turning up and taking a chance that the class is taking place. Our hall availability calendar is here which will usually indicate whether the event is happening or otherwise. Thank you.
