The Small Hall

The Small Hall holds 80 people sitting theatre style and measures approx 36ft x 23ft. This is an ideal space for smaller gatherings, maybe an afternoon tea party, a children’s party, a meeting, etc. As a rough guide Woodford Players hold their Christmas Party here and they have between 50 and 55 people sitting down at various sized tables plus a buffet table and this works well.

Many community organisations use this hall for a wide variety of events during the week. It is host to regular pilates, zumba, yoga, sewing and quilting classes, The Cheshire Bee Keepers also meet regularly in the small hall along with Woodford WI who hold regular choir, bridge, craft and table tennis classes.

The hall has its own entrance which is suitable for wheelchair access and has its own ladies and gents toilets. There is a disabled loo in the corridor between the two halls.

The kitchen can be accessed directly as can the outside space should the weather choose to behave itself for your event.

The view from this hall is onto a lovely garden which makes a gorgeous backdrop for wedding / special celebrations – weather permitting that is! The garden is maintained by the ladies of Woodford WI and we are eternally grateful to them for their support. They work very hard to keep it looking good and their efforts are duly rewarded throughout the year.

The Jubilee Garden at Woodford Community Centre is the view from the Small Hall.
