Pilates event Maria Jose Canda weekly at Woodford Community Centre

Pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, balance, joint mobility and better quality of movement. Pilates can also relieve stress and tension.

Regular Pilates can build whole body strength and flexibility. It can reduce risk of injury. Pilates can offer so much to women who are preparing to start a family or already have one.

Pilates will strengthen and retrain the pelvic floor. It can strengthen all muscles including the abdominal ones. Many mums find that it corrects posture, helps them regain confidence and improves their physical condition which helps them to cope with the demands of children.

There are occasions throughout the year when the regular classes cannot or do not take place due to other booking commitments / holidays etc. Please always check with the class organiser before just turning up and taking a chance that the class is taking place. Our hall availability calendar is here which will usually indicate whether the event is happening or otherwise. Thank you.
